You never talk about defeat
How can we have an unyielding attitude and an unshakeable resolution? At first we never talk about defeat. Because we allow, that it can come. Some day, when I had a lot of troubles, unknown man phoned me. He said: You haven't got a fear and you don't resign. I'm bringing you a good word. This was everything, what he said and then he cradled. I couldn't answered him, what is a good word. I haven't known what he wanted to say with this sentence. I found out, that my talk was bad and everyone knew that I was dead broke. So I started to say over some positive words as hopefulness, thrust, victory. And I spoke again and again, that I made everything, if I believe in me. I thought and practiced in this spirit. You try it too and your spirit targets the positive purposes and moreover you achieve them. Ann Brown wrote in her article about what ness of positive verbal talk and she warns of dangerousness. For example word nothing. It is as a close door. It means miscarriage, defeat, jerkiness. But opposite word from word nothing is action. It means activity, problem solution and achievement of purposes. Mrs. Brown thinks about word: run wild. In our life everything runs wild. Problems, passivity, worriment, pity. This running wild is symbol of negative thinking, and that's why she suggests creative change in your mind. You solve your problem at the beginning. You "weed" your mind from running wind of the most defeatist ideas and a despair feeling. And you never forget on stability principle: On resignation is always early. Achievement our purposes are on us and what do we do in a hard situation, we can resign or we can see out. And this resolve designs our future.
You mobilize your steadiness
Have you ever heard about successful career of Hayes Jones? In 1960 this athlete was number one in short hurdle race. All season he used to win every race, and he used to break a world record. He was really an abnormal athlete. In the same year he was nominated on Olympian Games to Roma, of course. Everyone awaits from him a gold medal in hurdle race on 110 m. But all sport word was very surprised, when it learned the results. Because Jones wasn't first, but he was only on the third position. It was a great disappointment. Athlete said about his results: It could be worse. Should he wait long four years for the nearest games?
However he won everything, what he could win. Has it got any reason, do this sport next years and keep fit? The best thing, what he can do is finish of his sport career and beginning of his business. These are the most logical ideas. But Hayes Jones didn't finish. He said: You cannot think logically, when you do something, which you want to achieve all your life.
